MensajeTema: Sony, GameStop Prepare Dissidia PSP Bundle   Dom Mayo 17, 2009 11:45 pm

Never let it be said that Sony doesn’t know how to throw together a PSP bundle. Sony today announced its latest PSP-3000 package, which includes the system (in Mystic Silver) and a few Final Fantasy goodies for $199.99. First up are a UMD of Final Fantasy VII Advent Children and a 2GB Memory Stick. More importantly, the bundle will include the upcoming Final Fantasy fighting game, Dissidia Final Fantasy, which is set to release at the same time as the bundle—August 25. The bundle is a GameStop exclusive. It doesn’t appear to have the same custom silk-screened artwork as the Japanese limited-edition Dissidia package, but it’s still a pretty good deal for people interested in picking it all up already.

In a shocking twist, Sony is excited about the package. “With its rich graphics, meticulous attention to detail and exhilarating gameplay experience, the Final Fantasy franchise is considered one of the most successful gaming franchises in history,” said Scott Steinberg, vice president of product marketing at Sony Computer Entertainment America. “We saw this as a tremendous opportunity to partner with Square Enix and GameStop, giving Final Fantasy fans an exclusive package at an incredible value. With an unparalleled PSP lineup in 2009, we’re committed to bringing consumers the best in portable entertainment. The Dissidia PSP bundle complements the breadth and depth of the PSP’s software offerings this year.”
